Founding Directors Alex Mottshaw and Connie Frendon worked within the telecommunications industry for a period of almost 5 years with Optus Television and Optus telephony. During this time, Satellite direct to home services became an increasingly cost effective method of distributing content to consumers in Australia and New Zealand.
Realising the business opportunities and challenges that were appearing in the specialist satellite business, Alex Mottshaw and Connie Frendon created AAACOM to specifically address this market. Firstly AAACOM concentrated on providing installation services for the niche ethnic market for direct to home television. Secondly it built a call centre with a customised database system specifically designed for the satellite business and lastly, it moved on to successfully providing (SMS) subscriber management solutions for 6 channels including Setanta Sports and Picture of Croatia.
Since the launch in 2002, the AAACOM group has now grown to encompass several businesses creating a unique synergy allowing us to service our clients more efficiently. The launch of 15percent.com.au has been a huge success and now sees AAACOM distributing some of the biggest brands of TV's and other big ticket items though the unique concept that is 15percent. Australian Professional Entertainment Sports (APES) is another company under the AAACOM umbrella. It has provided consultancy services to some of the biggest media companies in Australia.

If AAACOM believes that the levels of professionalism and customer service that it strives for cannot be attained due to financial restrictions, then AAACOM will remove itself from the contractual negotiations, rather than have these standards compromised.

AAACOM currently manages four 24 hour 7 days a week Satellite TV channels with its call centre based in Castle Hill in Sydney. AAACOM also provides technical support to many other satellite TV channels throughout Australia.
AAACOM has over 100 technicians based in all major cities and remote centres many of which have been working with us for over 7 years.
AAACOM has installed equipment in approximately 10000 commercial venues throughout Australia and installed close to 100000 residential homes with either satellite dishes, TV equipment or antennas.
